Name of Work: Viana General Hospital

Location of Work: Urban district of Zango – municipality of Viana – Luanda

Description of what it is and what it aims to achieve: This new hospital is located on a land of around 25,000 m2, and consists of a 3-storey main building and 5 smaller satellite buildings that function autonomously (the Maintenance Building, the Morgue Building, the Laundry Building, the Cafeteria Building and the Technical Building), essentially made up of ground floor and roof structures.

This new hospital unit will have a capacity of 322 beds, of which 272 for hospitalization.

In terms of services, it has five operating theatres, eight inpatient wards, a centralised diagnostic centre, an emergency service, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics and general medicine.
