Name of the Work: Institute of Anatomy and Forensic Medicine

Location of work: Talatona Municipality, Luanda

Description of what it is and what it aims to achieve: The country’s first Forensic Anatomy Institute will integrate services for cremating human bodies, training for doctors, diagnostic technicians and police science areas.

The project is being built in the Camama district, Talatona municipality, in Luanda, on an area of 8,897 m2.

The institute will have a mixed component, namely forensic medicine and criminalistics – the institution will have 200 drawers and two autopsy rooms for pathological anatomy and criminalistics.

Work on this project began in June 2022 and will be completed, if everything goes according to plan, next November.
