Hospital Geral do Bengo
João Lourenço’s government will inaugurate the new Bengo General Hospital in November 2023, one of the priorities defined in the 2018-2022 National Development Plan. This hospital will have capacity for 200 beds and will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, 7 operating theatres, 14 consulting rooms and capacity for 1,000 patients a day.

Name of Work: Hospital Geral do Bengo Reverendo Guilherme Inglês.
Location: Centralidade do Bucula – Caxito.
Description: Occupying an area of 45,000 m2, this hospital aims to guarantee the population of Bengo more than 15 health services, including haemodialysis. Reference should also be made to its training programme. At least 22 teaching specialists will train the other technicians working in the unit to operate the new technological equipment.
Cost of the Work: more than 63 million dollars
Contractor: Mitrelli, from the Israeli group Menomadin. Financing provided by Luminar Finance.
