Caiengue/Onzo/Muxaluando section – EN 311
The rehabilitation of this stretch is part of a government commitment to finish the work by the end of the year, with visible gains for Bengo Province and the region in terms of incentives for agricultural production and access to municipal services.

Name of the Work: Caiengue/Onzo/Muxaluando section – EN 311
Location of the Work: Bengo Province, Nambuangongo Municipality.
Description of what it is and what it aims to achieve: At the end of 2023, the Executive authorised funds for the completion of work on National Road (EN) 311, the Caiengue/Onzo/Muxaluando section, which at the time was showing signs of disrepair that jeopardised road safety for users.
This stretch, which connects the capitals of the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Uíge, Zaire and Kwanza Norte, is being rehabilitated over a length of 22 kilometres, including four resurfacing roads in Bengo province.
Cost of the work: 26.3 million usd
Contractor: Afavias and supervised by the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing
