Zaire General Hospital
The construction work on the Zaire General Hospital was visited by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, as part of his mission to Zaire province. Work began in 2014, resumed in June 2022 and is expected to be completed in August 2025.

Name of Work: Zaire General Hospital (Mbanza Congo General Hospital)
Location of Work: Mbanza Congo, Zaire Province
Description of what it is and what it aims to achieve: This new hospital is located on the outskirts of the city of M’banza Congo, and will have a capacity of 290 beds.
The infrastructure will include 4 operating theatres, 6 inpatient wards, physiotherapy services, haemodialysis, imaging, neonatal care, paediatrics, maternity and diagnostics.
Cost of Work: 87,850 million dollars
